Honoring Excellence in Oklahoma Energy

From this year at the Roger Farrer Energy Conference, AEE-OK will start recognizing individuals and student chapters for outstanding contributions to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and the professional community across Oklahoma.

Inaugural AEEOK Energy Awards

Recognizing AEEOK members for outstanding individual and project achievements in energy.

Young Energy Professional of the Year

Outstanding contributions to the energy profession and community by an emerging professional.


Eligibility

  • 35 or younger as of Jan. 1 of award year
  • Any industry, government, utility, or consulting role  

Student Energy Leader of the Year

Academic achievement, leadership, and service by an undergraduate or graduate student.


Eligibility

  • Enrolled at an accredited college/university during the award year.
  • AEE student chapter membership preferred

Energy Engineer of the Year

Outstanding accomplishments in energy engineering practice and service to AEE.


Eligibility

  • Generally P.E.-licensed
  • Exceptions considered where licensure isn't applicable

Energy Manager of the Year

Outstanding accomplishments in energy management practice and service to AEE.


Eligibility

  • Any corporate, institutional, industrial, or facility energy management role

Energy Project of the Year

An innovative and successful energy management project.


Eligibility

  • Installed and operational for at least 6 months
  • Results must be substantiated with actual data

Corporate Energy Management Award

An organization's outstanding energy management program.


Eligibility

  • Any corporation, agency, institution, or organization

Academic Excellence in Energy Research Award

Research that has meaningfully advanced energy engineering, efficiency, or sustainability


Eligibility

  • Faculty, researcher, research team, department, lab, or graduate student at an accredited institution
